PAREXEL - Drew Garty Discusses Trends in Analytics at DIA 2015
Its’ readily apparent this year at DIA that theres a huge focus in investment and analytics, driving changes from data into information that people can take meaningful action with, and then defend those actions to drive positive change going forward; continuously improving overall clinical execution. PAREXEL employs analytics in a very unique way, we don’t only focus on the analytics in the central hubs but really focus on the operational teams. It’s that complete eco system of the tooling from the end users, the monitoring staff, the site staff and their relationship, and all the information flow back to the analysts. That closed loop allows us to improve quality both in terms of our own study performance as well as offering those tools to the market and our customers. PAREXEL offers some very unique tools that helps our customers adapt to what they’re doing in their overall study execution both when you’re contracting with PAREXEL but also just running studies on your own. Our tools, including Data-Driven Monitoring, are used to change the monitoring behaviors based on prioritization of need through Risk Based Monitoring, but also focuses on the cost of quality and making sure we have the most effective processes possible to improve quality and study performance.
